Townsville Central State School is a proud partner school in the North Queensland Cowboys Adopt-a-School Program, sponsored by Stockland. In 2016, Townsville Central State School welcomes Jahrome Hughes.
Jahrome played for the 2015 Queensland Cup runners up Townsville Blackhawks before being signed by the NQ Cowboys.
