Townsville Central OSHC is an out of school hours care program that is operated under Townsville Central State School P&C Association. Our service offers Before and After School Care as well as Vacation Care and care on Pupil Free Days.
Our hours of operation are listed below:
Before School Care - 6:30am to 8:15am
After School Care - 2:50pm to 6:00pm
Vacation Care/Pupil Free Days - 6:30am to 6:00pm
Our service has a supportive, enthusiastic and dedicated team who offer a positive and inclusive learning environment that is affordable for all families.
The current costs for care are indicated below:
Before School Care - permanent $21 (including breakfast)
After School Care - permanent $33 (including afternoon tea)
Vacation Care/Pupil Free Days - permanent $65 dollars (including morning and after noon tea, activity costs are extra)
Most families are eligible for and currently access the Child Care Subsidy to help support the payment of their fees. To learn more about this process visit Assistance with child care fees or contact the Department of Human Services on 13 24 68.
Our service caters for all needs, development and interests of our children and we thrive on our child-centred program. We also offer nutritional and healthy meals and snacks for the children to nibble on while they are in care.
